    I watched a few of the Harold Matts games this year and Joey is a star player. Very much a leader who is quick and got a great pass and kicking game. Be suprised if he doesn't make first grade and have an impact.

    There is no way Des will leave. And if he were to leave, it wuld have to be a Manly bloke through and through that would get the job. I couldn't stand a career coach such as a Matt Elliot or Brian Smith coaching Manly who just jump from club to club every few years.

    RE: Manly v Raiders Rd 9 teams I have heard that king is unlikely to play and that foran is 50/50. Robinson will come onto the bench if king is injured and wolfman will come onto the wing if foran is out with a reshuffle in the backline

    Are we as good as we think

    I think manly suits playing some teams more than others. teams such as the cowboys who have the likes of matt bowen supporting up the middle trouble our big forwards. a team that really grinds out games such as st george, with not many offloads would be easier for manly to combat IMO.
