(Merged Thread) T Rex Charged with Grade 4, 7-10 Weeks

RE: T Rex Charged with Grade 4, 7-10 Weeks Can't say I'm that surprised. Another millemeter or two and the guy he tackled would have been seriously injured. Really bad. Worth challenging I suppose to try and get it downgraded based on intent not there, but good luck. Fcuk it.

    New AFL ad

The AFL launched their new campaign today. Great track, how could you not like it? But the vision - seems so dull. Bummer, I'm so sad (not). http://www.afl.com.au/AustraliasGame/tabid/18887/Default.aspx NRL 12, AFL 4 - half time score

Lussick won't sign until Manly reveal their plan

How old is Lussick? 20 something? Probably cut him some slack on that count. It's the managers that worry me. Put them on a lie detector and ask the question whose interests are they looking after.

Lussick won't sign until Manly reveal their plan

Dear Darcy When was the last time the Sea Eagles weren't strong? I sense these players are being led by the nose by the dickhead managers who are more interested in their percentage than the welfare of the talent they represent. If he's not prepared to sign based on the history and...

Manly facing Brett Stewart sacrifice to keep star halves together

Answer this very simple question. You earn $300,000 pa, you have 4 years max left at an elite level. A company offers you $600,000 pa to do what you love to do. Insert answer __________________

    Suing Hasler ?

Let it go. Nothing to be gained. Focus on the team, the fans, the future, not the lawyers. What goes around comes around anyway.

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly report - Rd 1 2012

Was there ever any doubt we'd be up for this game and win it? Not in my mind. Why the bookies had Warriors as favourites defied any logic. 1. Virtually the same team as the GF. 2. A really big and positive game in the UK - our Round 1 if you ask me. 3. We'd beaten Warriors in the last...

    Adam Cuthbertson

Interesting bias against Newcastle. Dean Young dropped the ball in front of the posts too. And Knights lose by golden point. They weren't that far behind a pretty disciplined Saints team in the wet. I thought they were rusty. Expect them to be very dangerous. They've got improvement...

NRL deny snubbing Melbourne Storm, Billy Slater with Dally M Medal winner's ad

I still reckon there are enough great highlights from nearly all teams to make 3 versions of the ad and rotate that around. Sure it makes sense to slant the Melbourne version towards their team, same for Brisbane and Cowboys but that might only be one or two bits of Slatter brilliance. It'd...

    Brad Fittler's Idea

Don't agree with it. There's so many games already plus rep games. Unless their is an allowance to have more players in the squad with increased salary cap, why burden your first grade team on a second tier comp and risk more injury and burn out end of season. Trials are fine, gives the...

    New NRL AD

Good song IMO, a great anthem for the game for maybe 3 years. Lots of Manly (including Des) which is great. Felt it was all too quickly editied and would like to see maybe two or three versions roll out through the year to cover all the great footage not used (not always Manly). 9/10

Tigers set to shut doors to general public for future Leichhardt fixtures

100% agree with that comment. And I love sitting/standing next to the other team's supporters, especially when they are loosing. Amazing how quiet they can go.

Imagine if we could do something like this in the future

On the contrary, I'd bet my new Manly scarf it will be shown on free to air. Maybe only Melbourne, but don't be surprised if they roll it out in other markets. They're agressive marketers the AFL people. What is that saying? Keep your friends close and your enemies closer?

Imagine if we could do something like this in the future

I've got to say I've found nearly all Manly's marketing I've seen somewhat underwhelming and dated. And I certainy don't mean offense to those who are trying and working on things behind the scenes. Just take those screens with players sponsorship ads before the game at Brookie. It's right...
