    Mobility

Assuming we sign Matagi, Bozo's starting six is probably: 8. Myles (please no) 9. Koraisau 10 Lussick 11. Tapau 12. Matagi (wreaking havoc out wide, similar to Manu Ma'u) 13. Jake That's five forwards who are effectively props. Swap Myles for AFB (which should happen) and we get even bigger...

    Tired of Bozo hatred

no rat, just a Melbourne-based fan with no ties (other than emotional !!) to club. I watch long-suffering AFL fans (eg Richmond) go to game after game in the wet to the support their team, even when it is near the bottom. We give up on a club legend after one bad season. Pretty poor.

    Tired of Bozo hatred

I understand people are hurting from this season's result and like you I wish we kept Buhrer instead of Brown as our utility. But this constant bagging of Bozo is disrespectful and misses the bigger picture. I recall Bozo helping this club when it was down over the years and achieving great...

    Buhrer

I like Jamie too, but the reaction to him possibly leaving is over the top. 1. He hasn't been great value over last three years due to injuries. 2. He wouldn't make starting pack in any of the top four sides. 3. He has been a speed-bump on a few occasions due to his small size (think Junior...

    Take a bow recruitment

Understandably, everyone is focusing on the great signings. But let's think about the outgoings in last two years: - Watmough: injured, headed for retirement. - G Stewart: Struggling in Super League - Foran: possibly injured. Persistent hamstring problems - Hasson: Not even in Parra reserve...

    Marty Taupau's Position

Jake T will start at lock. Marty and Myles at prop. Jake can punch out big minutes at lock, meaning shorter stints for other middle forwards, higher rotations and more explosiveness.

    Combinations versus Surprise Factor

Several so-called expert commentators have mentioned a lack of combinations will hurt us in the early rounds, and even that teams will hope they play us early in season. It's a fair point but I think they are overlooking the surprise factor we will have early in 2016. We have had mostly the...

Who misses out, because Peta is beta

5/8th has to be Hiku. Not just because he is potentially well suited to job, but because of how it would other affect players. Consider if the following players were made 5/8: 1. Tom T: It's a huge ask for a rookie to play out of position as 5/8th and be in front line of defence while his body...
