    100% agree. Jake takes involvement in space away from Shoo when Walker is on. Too many playmakers in the middle/edge taking up space. When Walker is on Jake should just be a prop...up the middle straight and hard, then rest for the next one.

    I don't see it as " one position on the bench" I see it as how that bench position is utilised. Swapping out a starting prop with a bench utility if you are not winning, or at LEAST holding your own in the forwards battle doesn't bode well for gaining traction in that battle for the next 20...

    Please go back through our season and list the forwards battles won and lost by us, who was playing in them and the result. You would probably ignore that too.

    Maybe 1 of them, maybe both...maybe neither. It was rumoured Davey may be going back to Parra and Zac had a VERY serious neck injury. Bullimore and Woods are runoured to be coming too, I guess we will know sometime.

    He hasn't re-signed yet...maybe some other team will pay him more than what we can afford to pay him to be a permanent 14.

    See the post by StuBoot above my friend...it's kosher. Walsh was ineligible because he had not 1, but 2 suspensions this year. 1 is enough.

    This is how I see it too. Jake doesn't move to prop when Walker comes on, he plays the same role he was already playing, so we are short a real prop. Our middle has been like tissue since Des started doing this and we have only had the go-forward of 1 prop and 1 prop in defence.

    That's what I thought. If trial games are not counted then WHY can't he play them? The NRL are double-dipping...and we all know that is not kosher.

    Against the stronger teams and even lesser teams with big packs I would go with 3 big guys and a utility...2 utilities is only really beneficial against weaker packs it seems. Sorry to keep repeating myself.

    . As you said, Walker put in some good personal performances BUT our middle was very poor since Des started doing And Slippers should be on the bench.we paid dearly for him not being there.
