Young Forwards - Do we have any?

You were making sense up to the point when you referenced Schuster.

Agreed, but it was a dropped pass from Koala after the Brooks break that turned the match. We had levelled up and had all the momentum. Had Brooks passed earlier, or Koala took what was a poor pass, he would have scored under the posts. Knowing how RL works these days we would have run away with...

You do realise that they simply bought their coach and three best players from Penrith, don't you? As for Wests' revival: they have five Penrith players in their top 17; Doesn'tmatta has another couple... How good would Penrith be if it wasn't raided by pirates? Oh, and we also have a Penrith...

    2026 recruitment & retention

The culling of expensive recruits Brandon Smith and Dom Young proves the grass is not always greener at Moore Park. It may be more lush and lucrative, but it is a welcome reminder that money doesn't always buy you success. Cockadoodledo DCE . . .

I have to disagree about having all forwards on the bench. Backs get hurt too and when it happens it involves a host of positional problems unless you have someone like TT2 in reserve. I believe TT2 is an ideal interchange. Obviously he can cover most backline positions but he is also big enough...

    Pre-Game Manly V Sharks [Round 10, 2025]

I would like to know how many matches Al and Tent have missed since joining Manly. Because of their appaling injury records I would be tempted to try to move them on.

It would be a huge risk. We lost out with The Shoe. Both have heaps of potential but rarely deliver. I just don't think our decision-makers would have the courage.

    Wiremu Greig ???

He was named after a breed of hunting dog, which sounds promising for a RL forward.

I've been ignoring him for years. You should too. There is an 'Ignore' button. Probably the most useful of all buttons on this site.

All NRL Games [Round 9, 2025]

Once agin the Clunker, and an over-officious ref, managed a result rather than letting the players decide the outcome. There is far too much nit-picking in NRL these days. The NRL should realise accidents happen, not every action is black-or-white, and what the eye can't detect in real time...

No Magic Rd for us, you beauty.

Just another advantage the NRL has given the Donkeys. I don't think they take any of their home games to other areas to spread the RL message like the rest of the clubs do. It's not surprising that they are the most financially affluent club in the NRL . . yet they haven't won a premiership for...

Fair point. However, at the time the club let Humphreys walk it had no idea Fogarty would be available. I don't think the club knew that DCE would be leaving. It's the only rational explanation. Mind you, rational and Manly administrators don't always meld.
