In my opinion, both DCE and Turbo will be picked for SOS Game One. I don't think it's a matter of should, as both of them have already said they will play if chosen. Unfortunately for MWSE, we don't/won't have any say in the matter.

Probably @Mark from Brisbane We are still only two wins away from equal second spot on the ladder, but also two losses away from equal last! It's a weird ladder this year, and that's the only certainty for 2025, IMO.

Putting a thought forward, with fatigue/injury would it be just that if a teams player is selected for origin then the following year they get 10k off their cap per player?

DCE , Tom and Jake would have been more successful playing with more successful clubs in the last 10 years that have won Grand finals .

I don’t think Jake and Tom will be looked back on as clowns but will always be viewed as what could’ve been. Jake’s been exceptional for us for over a decade and if the six again rule didn’t come in he might’ve gone down as one of our best forwards (still up there imo but not quite at the same level as beaver , bk , gift etc of the last generation). Dce is probably more representative of this whole period. Lacking direction.

I think Ponga announced himself unavailable after he found out Walsh was selected & he knew he had no chance of being picked anyway.
