    The No-Look News (Schuster Chronicles)

I went to the Reggie’s game specifically to see Schu play and I was really disappointed in what I saw. I wasn’t even sure what position he was playing, as he spent most of the time next to the left winger, which I found quite odd. His defence seemed okay, however I did not see the Chook’s first...

    The No-Look News (Schuster Chronicles)

I'd just like to add about the Schu. Look how Angus Chriton played in Reggies. Same position, and he absolutely killed it. If you want to be the best NRL player, you have to at least make an effort.

    The No-Look News (Schuster Chronicles)

I attended the Reggies game, specifically to watch the Schu, much to my wife's disagreement, However, with first grade, she is 3-0! And that's over 20 years of our relationship, so she has been lucky for us. Well I have to encourage her to attend more! Watching the game, as my whole interest...

    Blacktown Workers

I’m not sure why Schu decided to play Reggie’s today, as he doesn’t seem to be too interested. A couple of tackled, a knock on and lots of walking so far. Blacktown’s right side defence is leaking points. Interesting at half time, Blacktown went into the sheds while Roosters stayed on the field.

    The No-Look News (Schuster Chronicles)

Absolutely. Shu needs to get game time in his legs if he is expected to play 80 minutes and a cameo off the bench is not going to help. In fact, we may well find, depending on how Burbo and Waddell go this week, that he'll be in Reggies for another week. Why? Game time and confidence, because...

    Woodsie's Team List Tuesdays

Both the Reggies and 1st Grade are going to be great games. What a way to spend an Autumn Sunday afternoon. I have convinced the wife to come along, so I had to get grandstand seats. This will be her second time ever attending a Manly game and so far she has not seen Manly lose. In fact, the...

    Garricks performance at centre

There are several points to consider in my opinion: 1) who gives damn how fast a player is over 100m, as rarely does a player actually run 100m in one bolt. Ilias easily caught Saab coming from behind, before Saab was in full flight. The greatest sprinter of our time, Usain Bolt never won a...

    2024 Casualty Ward

It’s.the nature of the game unfortunately and that’s why each team has to have depth. I note that Tommy Talau has been named on the right wing for Blacktown, so that may be somewhat of an indicator as to what Seibs is thinking to replace Saab. The Eagles may have an opposed session on the...

    What is it about animals...?

I often wonder how many names Ian Roberts was called when he was playing albeit, I doubt many were game to. I abhor racism, however, there’s all sorts of banter on the field, which I am sure those who have played at the highest level can attest to, and lots of name calling, which was just...

I will be surprised if Garrick is not out for at least the next round, maybe one or two more. Saab will be at least 5 rounds.

    Manly's BEST signings in years

In fairness, Paulo missed one tackle and he still had hold of the guy’s ‘shorts string’ when he scored. You can’t fault him for effort, just a bad read. He was absolutely ‘crunched’ bring the ball back, however, still retained posession. Brown and Brooks were both outstanding and made a huge...

    Manly's BEST signings in years

Paulo wasn’t as impactful as I hoped, however, apart form missing one tackle, he was safe under the high ball didn’t get rolled into touch and had limited opportunities in space to show his speed. It’s one game and I think he’ll hold his spot.

A learning curve for the juniors. We just need one or two to come through each year. I haven’t seen any games, however, I am sure many others have and will have an opinion as to who may be good in future.

    The Daly Cherrygraph

It’s definitely been ‘Photoshopped’ and someone is just taking the ‘piss’ for whatever reason. It’s easy to tell if you enlarge the photo. Completely different shading and skin texture.

    Manly's 2024 surprise packet

Schuster… well at least that’s what I hope, however, he may prove me wrong.

A nice attempt at Photoshop, just a shame the skin colours don’t quite match 😊. However, yep, he has big quads.

Kent is the biggest dribbler on TV.

Kent is a cynic, and as long as you accept that, I find him quite enjoyable to watch and read his articles. He has his staunch opinions, which I may not necessarily agree with, however, I do find it interesting listening to other points of view. You just have to take it all in context that he...

Mark's "Your Top 8 & Wooden Spoon" 2024 predictions thread.

Panthers ( as long as Cleary isn’t injured) Rabbits (as long a Trell isn’t injured) Sea Eagles (as long as Turbo isn’t injured) Storm Warriors Broncos Roosters Sharks “pie in the sky” stuff really, as Knights, Eels, Dolphins, Titans and Cowboys could also fit in the Top 8. In reality, I think...
