Saying he fulfilled his dream to play for Manly is awesome. Even has a Manly tatt while playing elsewhere!
What I admire most about him is instead of just playing for the money, he played for the genuine love of Manly...
I'd say Lawton will be used if needed for Croker, then Burbo replaces Lawton as well as cover for any backs if necessary.
I'm happy...it's a strong team, despite no Turbo or Saab. Should be a cracker of a game.

Looking forward to TLT this week. I think the team selected is going to be a crucial factor in trying to get over the Dogs (along with our defence and discipline). I'm hoping that:
Lawton's recovered from his injury, is named at 12 and actually plays there
Talau's recovered from his injury and...
I don't know about Max being a better coach for us, but it may be beneficial to have him instill some passion and fire up the boys during this week and/or before the game on Friday. If not Maxy, then Spud Carroll. It certainly couldn't hurt.
Great weather for footy tonight and we're almost at full strength. What could possibly go wrong...officiating and/or complacency, so we need to be disciplined, ruthless and no slackening off.
Hopefully Brooksy has selective deafness to the Tigers fans and has a blinder.

He probably is a nice guy but he's not even playing. Saying he hopes the Tigers fans show Brooks no mercy and to boo him for 80 minutes, after all that Brooks did as a Tiger, I think is pathetic.
Yes a great Manly crowd would be very helpful in theory but in practice, getting to Leichhardt on a Thursday night with little carparking, might be a bridge too far. Terrible timing/location unfortunately...
What an awesome podcast. Being in a relaxed setting, Tom was down to earth and it was quite enlightening on a range of subjects.
