Our important role
Perhaps part of the problem is the name Manly-Warringah, it could be that those people who don't reside in Manly or Warringah don't identify with the team so maybe we should have a more generic name, representative of the whole area. For example, The Northern Beaches Eagles, or North Shore...- Av8r

Third party deals ARE part of the cap if the club negotiates them as part of a players contract. It doesn't matter who pays the wages, if it's in the players contract with the club it's counted in the cap. A lot of people misunderstand this concept including some journalists.- Av8r

All you have to do is watch the Matai incident to know it's not a safe technique they're employing. It's good they're copping some scrutiny over it. The refs will be on the lookout (at least they should be).
