    MVP: Rd 3 v Eels

As @globaleagle said, I try to have the thread open straight after fulltime and hopefully have the voting cutoff sometime on Wednesday. But as he mentioned sometimes life happens and I don't get to it for a couple of weeks....like now 😁 Once I've posted the weekly results and updated...

Hooker is still our biggest issue

Another good point. Ballin wasn't the most creative dummy half but complemented players like DCE, Ox, Foz and Gifty perfectly.

Hooker is still our biggest issue

I'm a Croker defender, but I do get the argument re lack of creativity etc. Lawton is a Croker clone, ie solid but limited creativity. Agree with other comments that I'd like to see Gordy or Humphries in the 14 to see if they can provide a bit of impact. I'd lean towards Humphries as I thought...

    Who misses out?

Haha good point mate. Sandwich at centre, I was tossing up between Talau and Paulo at wing. I give it slightly to Talau on what I’ve seen so far.

    Who misses out?

If the teams still fir and firing I don't see a need to rush either forward back, especially Lodge who is coming of a long layoff. A couple of games in NSW Cups to regain match fitness and assess how they're travelling. Saab comes straight back in if fully fit. I guess the question should more...

    POLL Brooks Vs Shoe

Valid. But I think Lodge also comes into the frame when fit. With Jake playing 80 min I think we only need two middles on the bench. I’d still have Schu there as impact/ We’re on the hook for both salaries, regardless of where they play.

    POLL Brooks Vs Shoe

I don’t think Brooks v Shu is the question. Phrase it another way, Shu v Ploddell for the bench bachrow spot? I know who offers the bigger upside.

Kent is the biggest dribbler on TV.

I took a set on Kent after the way he laid into Snake before any evidence had been forthcoming and have pretty much avoided him since. However, I have started watching 360 this season, more as background noise while doing other stuff. However I have found it pretty interesting. As others have...

    Garricks performance at centre

He went fine. As others have pointed out, a couple of poor defensive reads / positioning but that should come. He did still have the wingers mindset a few times though in that he forgot he had someone on his outside, ie Saab. Good point from @rmd re speed. Speed over 10-20m is vital as that's...

NRL going to rotate clubs for Vegas

Next year I'm thinking Melbourne and Penrith are walk up starts. Melbourne as the name is more identifiable to the average American than say Parramatta. And Penrith as they'll be nomadic for the early part of the season. At a guess the others may be North Queensland (they'll want a Qld side and...

Zac Fulton off to Bradford Bulls

I was really impressed with him in his only NRL game and really expected him to get more chances. Multiple coaching setups have overlooked him though and the fact no other NRL or SL clubs were beating his door down speaks volumes I guess. Bradford does have a rich history over there so would be...
