    Eagles U18 reps

Yeah in the two or three times I’ve seen him he floated in and out of game but has incredible skill. Im sure Des is looking forward to moulding him.

Yep. Super chase. Shame he went high. Him and his brother are natural footballers. He has first grade written all over him. And not that far off either.

No Shiek that was the centre he ran down after the intercept.Coates a lot taller and lankier.. Believe me he would not have got anywhere near Coates.Coates was the guy who scored off the cross kick . Agree re Schuster . Didn’t see him in higher standard tonight but from what I’ve seen of him...

Sam Walker( Bens son) is the next big thing. Best young half I’ve seen for a while. He cut NSW to pieces.Uncle Nick already has him under lock and key of course.Hes the bloke they have pegged to take over from Cronk eventually. Pity Ben didnt send him to his old club Manly lol. Saw Xavier...

    PRE-GAME DISCUSSION: Cowboys v Manly [Round 13, 2019]

I reckon no Waddell and Toff makes us a fair bit short of full strength mainly because they are streets ahead of the next option in that position. Was loving Toffs work, our reserve bigmen have been lacklustre and Waddell is a class above JetSki for a backrow berth.

    PRE-GAME DISCUSSION: Cowboys v Manly [Round 13, 2019]

That could work too. Suli needs to be out there and wing suits his skills. The only thing I don’t want to see is Parker playing wing. He is a centre and only a centre.Jorge needs to fire up while the red man rehabs or I think you are right Holden, he may be the unlucky man to miss out.

    PRE-GAME DISCUSSION: Cowboys v Manly [Round 13, 2019]

Agree. That’s full strength in those positions, especially now that Dylan looks at home on the left with Parker being excellent backup.I hadn’t seen Dylan on the left and he looked good so that allows Suli to play as well. Gives us some X Factor. It has a really competitive look to it even...

Nice to see Suli in. That’s a surprise. With TT and him back we have a decent chance.

Reason it's hard - who to sign ??

Five Eight Second Row Wing 5/8 Cust looks promising but needs work and Croker unfortunately can’t stay on field. This is a must fill position to be a top 4 regular.Hard to see where an elite 5/8 will come from so this will continue to haunt us unless Cust or Croker develop and if they don’t...

    PRE-GAME DISCUSSION: Cowboys v Manly [Round 13, 2019]

We get flogged if Tom doesn’t play. Waddell gone now too. Bench , which is our real weakness, will be very ordinary. The boys have performed admirably but they are out of petrol now with this hard slog and injuries all over the park.Away against a team on a three game winning run will be too...

Cust will tip Elgey to partner DCE

They had a bloke by the name of Cliff Lyons wandering around outside them. As great a player as he was Tooves ended up at hooker for a reason and a lack of kicking game was one of them.Des played a few positions and lack of a kicking game was a big reason he was regarded as a great utility as...

Long way to go lol. Sherlock Holmes is amongst us!! He a twenty year old who basically went straight to first grade from twenties to play against behemoths every week! It’s totally opposite mate. You are too hard to please. It’s about expectations. You judging a bloke on twenty games in his...

Dead right Mick. He has played twenty or so games, is still a kid , plays in one of the toughest positions on the field and has two or three quiet games when we were totally and utterly starved of the ball when he came on - and the knives are out. Not sure if it was you who mentioned it in...

Cust will tip Elgey to partner DCE

Fainu has a good kicking game if allowed to do it but that only helps if we play one hooker. If Croker is fit ( which seems a forlorn hope )I’d play him.If not maybe the Walker option might be next best. Either option doesn’t get us to the pointy end of the table consistently. Its our Achilles...

Great news. Well done to Lowy!

    Full strength

Got to have two big men on bench instead of JetSki if you want Fainu on bench. Only reason Jetski was there when Sipley was playing is that Paseka and Tanginoa had issues. If Paseka or Boyle show anything one has has to be in the side. We get hammered when AFB and Marty go off because Waddell...

    Non-Manly Games [Round 12, 2019]

Compare that pass from Roberts to put Copley in to the harbour bridge stuff we’ve got happening. Should be just a given NRL half can throw a decent long pass.I reckon it’s cost us half a dozen opportunities in the last month of games.

He’s had a few games to impress after the injury and didn’t do anything in reserves. Got a chance Thursday due to origin / injury and looked good in that 10 minutes. Have to be careful judging a fresh guy against tired players in the 70 th minute but geez it would be good if he could reach his...

    Player Ratings - Round 12

Yep.Agree re Waddell. For him to start though it means Thommo goes to UK I suppose. I reckon he has another year in him and I’d be extending his contract as we are such a young side already. Love his work on and of the field. With our ability to find an injury Im sure Waddell gets a few starts...

    Player Ratings - Round 12

I was fired up about the loss and probably didnt explain my point properly.JetSki is getting a run solely because the big men at the club have not stepped up at all. Tanginoa ( gone ) Paseka ( ordinary in reserve grade ) and Boyle ( coming back from major injury/ fitness concerns ) have meant he...
