    Massive turning point today

Storm dominated the middle, made way more post contact meters and bent the manly defensive line, they won the ruck and the game with more enthusiasm running the ball and more intensity with their defensive efforts. Replacing Tent is not easy with the current squad, Sipley with his running game...

    [Resurrected] Paseka

Could be a long season without Tent against the better forward packs, got dominated in the middle and missed Tents ability to bend the defensive line. The forwards apart from Bully, Haumole and Ben T were easy pickings for the Storm and they were without Nelson.

    Post-Game Discussion Manly V Storm [Round 5, 2025]

I agree they didn’t lose today because of DCE it was in the middle of the field where they were dominated. Problem is there is no middlemen worth bringing into first grade that is in the 30 man squad, the cupboard is bare and a couple of the train and trial players look more likely than a few...

    Post-Game Discussion Manly V Storm [Round 5, 2025]

The journos took it easy on DCE and Seibold in the post match press conference. Definitely lost the physical battle up front, could do with a bit of mad dog in the pack while Tent is out, Sykes could be worth a role of the dice, though he is on a train and trial deal.

    Post-Game Discussion Manly V Storm [Round 5, 2025]

Bully only 34 minutes again today, needs to be playing 50 minutes at least, with Brown back Bully has had his minutes reduced two weeks in a row. The absence of Tent was highlighted today, Haumole, Ben T and Bully only challenged the Storm defensive line. Thought Brown looked better than Jake...

    Burbo to lock?

The more I see Ben play I am of the view he would make a decent middle forward, he had a good first forty today with plenty of involvement. The second forty had a couple of moments he needs to work on, he looked gassed and he didn’t look like an 80 minute player once the fatigue got him.

I missed the Saab injury, any details? I would like to see big Nav get a shot in first grade if they can upgrade him to a developmental contract.

    Post-Game Discussion Manly V Storm [Round 5, 2025]

Storm exposed the lack of mobility with our middles. Errors and discipline were below terrible for a home game along with the efforts when they needed to stay in the grind early in the second half. Impressed with the involvement of Koula, though in a game where the defence was terrible the...

    MVP: Rd 4 v Storm

    3. Koula, was on today. 2. Haumole, was starved of ball in the first 40. 1. Hoppa, tried hard, had an error though was safe enough.

Game Day: Manly V Storm [Round 5, 2025]

Not using Haumole well enough so far, wouldn’t mind seeing Haumole go to the left for 15-20 minutes, he would make it hard for Storm.

Haumole is getting no ball, right edge attack looks horrible today so far..

    2026 halves plan

If there was any word that DCE is going to the Dolphins an early player swap could be negotiated, this was reported by Danny Weidler. Stranded Dolphin? Here could be an interesting spin-off from Cherry-Evans’ looming Sea Eagles exit. Rival clubs are watching very closely to see where he ends...

    The Daly Cherrygraph

I understand your frustration there, though retaliation with bitterness will have a knock on effect in limiting club sponsors exposure if they were to place a ban on channel nine. Bitterness and the lack of ability from DCE and his camp to get the stinky fish out on the table and get their...

Is 'The Bull" the Most improved player in NRL

Watching him in the two trials and the first four games he is running harder at the defensive line, he has had good leg speed and footwork for a while. He definitely stands out from any other middle forward the club have played this season, with Paseka and Haumole having signed contracts with...

    Pre-Game Manly V Storm [Round 5, 2025]

For me it didn’t work the best with two light bodies against the Raiders, using that as a lesson learned Faulalo had 12 carries for 65 meters and only 17 meters post contact, you want more impact with tough carries and that’s not part of what he offers.

    Pre-Game Manly V Storm [Round 5, 2025]

I got concerns with Faulalo and Hoppa in the back three together, I think Hoppa, Garrick and Saab are better together. Schoupp is carrying the ball strongly and making good post contact meters, I would play him at right centre, with Turbo and Talau out I think Schoupp can do more with the...
