Actually think he can cover all spine positions bar fullback and can also probably play lock. Hes a handy utility. Much more handy than having a second tier hooker like gckt on the bench. What role? I just don’t see any benefit in the way he plays anymore. Hes slow, basically never breaks the line, can be used as a link man but theres also no risk with him because his running game is so average. I don’t think Jake and Tom will be looked back on as clowns but will always be viewed as what could’ve been. I don’t mind it. Brooks will be off contract end of next year and I’d imagine won’t be re-signed. Three years doesn’t particularly mean 600 a year for three years. It might mean 500 a year for three years which in my eyes is a decent deal. We aren’t signing him for his running game so age isn’t...- Heckenberg
