Is 'The Bull" the Most improved player in NRL

Agree, he is a deadset certainty for the training squad.

I haven't seen this press conference - sounds like a nothingburger - but oh, please just Stop.

    The Daly Cherrygraph

The only definitely accurate and reliable thing in that Weidler piece was when he described himself as a Hack. One might argue that other journalists in this drama have not yet attained even that level of reliability or accuracy.....

    Jamal Fogarty

Honestly, no offence but please not Jamal Fogarty. He's 32 years old at the end of 2025, he's been in the NRL system since 2017, in that time he's played 98 NRL games the majority at Canberra where he seems to have found a happy home (all this from Wikipedia). I think he is on or is taken to...

    2026 halves plan

Don't give up @Shoe1 , things are a bit craycray right now but will level out.....

    The Daly Cherrygraph

I agree 100% with this. When you look at our actual and quite successful recruiting pattern over the last handful of years it's been: promising young guys who might be NRL about 2027 with any luck; players who are good or at least promising but badly need a second or third chance; and warhorses...

How to F a season in one go

A lot to agree with here I reckon. I am highly confident the team will want to make a Unity declaration, and indeed hopefully might put a real hurting onto the sqEels. It's "as the season goes on" that worries me, especially if there might be some papered-over divisions or worse, resentments...

    2026 halves plan

Come Back Schu, All Is Forgiven!! (Too soon?) I am highly confident the 2026 answer will be Jake Arthur.

LOL but all laughing aside, yeah I agree Dogs might be the frontrunner. Some real polish in the halves looks like one of the few things they lack and could be very significant in their rebuild project.

    MVP: Rd 3 v Raiders

Wow I kind of feel a lot less happy now writing this than I expected but.... 3 DCE had the ball on a string and the Raiders in agony. Welcome back to Brooky Kaeo. 2 The Sandwich celebrated in unforgettable style. He was running like Terry Hill out there. 1 Bully lots of guys deserved a...

Mestrov & Penn vs DCE: Who is lying?

Biggest risk now is that relationships turn poisonous between the executive and football branches: leaders in each are accusing the other of lying after all. Seibold will do well to keep the football on track for the rest of the year.

    The Daly Cherrygraph

Problem with Turbo to 5/8, I don't think he has any real kicking game does he? Nor with his hamstrings do I want him to try and develop one! That would mean the kicking and team direction load completely on Brooks he can't handle that. I am betting next year Brooks stays at 5/8, Jake Arthur...

    Lodge, you Monster

I wonder when on earth Lodge broke his toe? He appears another one not lucky with injuries that guy.

    [Resurrected] Paseka

This has to be Toff's year, if he is to have one. He is off contract end of 2025, and needs to win the extension. He too has not been the luckiest with injuries. But I feel like when fit He shows a deeply frustrating inability to play two good games in a row!
