Whyte is 100% the man I would go for. We tried to get him a few years ago and I rated him then. Very young for a starting prop and very strong. I highly doubt Chooks would let him go as they know what they have.

    Tallyn Da Silva

We were also looking at Tom Starling from Canberra. He looks to be now staying on at the Raiders and this indicates we are still active for a hooker. I rate De Silver and could be a better fit for our squad as we might need and little more creativity from dummy half with Brooks and Fogarty as...

    Pre-Game Manly V Sharks [Round 10, 2025]

Seems like Seibs dosent want to rely on Burbo going into the back line for injury cover as usual. Bambie would be lining up against Iro or Ramien who both would have a field day running circles around him.

“Ka-pa-au” just doesn’t have the same ring to it hey..?

    Pre-Game Manly V Sharks [Round 10, 2025]

Siebs must read the forum! Awesome selections regarding the pack. Aloiai’s injury has also helped this selection imo. Once he is back we will see if he leaves Jake at prop 🤞🏽

Hahaha it’s sometime hard to read sarcasm 😁

    Jamal Fogarty

Is this a strange one…. I could only see him coming back if he was playing NSW cup and add to our outside back depth. He is considered a genuine first grader so I find it hard to believe he would return to play reserve grade. Maybe we are letting go of TT2..?

That still haunts me. I was sitting right behind the posts of that field goal attempt.

Or we are sick of DCEs money soaking up the cap for rubbish results each year. Not to mention the low % plays that when the pressure is on can’t control a game and ironically turns into a headless chook.

    Too much speed?

He definitely has improved with his yardage carries. He knew that was a problem area for him and has worked on to be better at. You can see small subtleties when taking these tough carries he accelerates into contact with his last 2 strides. I noticed Turbo doing this 3 years ago and made a...

    Joey Walsh

I seem to think that this will be the case as to how he is brought into the team. Walsh plays on the left as is Brooks. Walsh replacing Brooks in 2027 makes sense to me as playing 6 he won’t have that added pressure. Fogarty can still steer the ship for another year while Walsh gets some 1st...

    Caleb Navale

Still very young but I think he is ready to make to leap into the 1st grade team. He had be in front of Waddle and close to leaping past Sips. Just needs a little more game time to prove himself but he is going to help our teams mobility.

    Post-Game Discussion Panthers V Manly [Round 8, 2025]

I would be starting Jazz at 13 and Jake starting prop. Simpkins was fantastic tonight and has played himself into that starting roll. Jake simply has to be played as a traditional front rower with 2 x 20min bursts.

Probably waiting for the 10 day cooling off period to lapse before making the official announcement.

That would be a massive signing! He is a real talent and wouldn’t break the bank. Is he off contract next year?

    Brooks is on $600k

Tom Starling would be my next signing. Now Fogarty is with us I would prioritise Starling now with their combination already built.

    Jamal Fogarty

Still a very good deal for both parties. $700k for a starting half coming into his best years is a steal for us. Bummer Canberra played a little hard ball to drive his price up with Sticky helping him on his way out. Fogarty and Brooks on a total of $1.3m per year is great business for...

What youngster would you get in right now? It’s well and good to object to the Fogarty planning but you must back it up with a solution. Personally I think this is exactly what we need in the squad. Our young halves need to cut their teeth in NSW cup as did Humphreys for a few years before...

    The Clean Out 2025 Edition

If an outside back went down everyone would have called it a master stroke. You could argue that we could of moved Burbo to the centres and Bully to the backrow if that was to happen, moving our best prop to a position where he is virtually no existent is definitely not the right decision. IMO...
