    I think he got away with one also when we played them. He cocked his elbow and raised it as the tackler came in. If it was a split second later, he would have collected the Manly player across the forehead. As it was, he collected him across the jaw. I think it was Reuben from memory??

    The reason all the teams are taking short dropouts is it’s an old school differential penalty now so you can’t take a shot at goal. We should have scored that set but a bad play of the ball halted the play then let the defense cramp us

    I think some of the issues with him over the years were the last 10 min of the first half he would be gassed from making a million tackles. This would lead to some way-wood passing selection and accuracy. Taking him off for a spell is the best thing ever for him

    3. Ola, 181 meters and also ran some great decoy lines, scored a try and was a menace for South’s 2. Saab, did the hard yards out of our own line and turned the game with that intercept. 1. Froggy, tackled and tackled. Kicked once and got a meat pie. Ran more that I’ve seen lately.

    2024 Optimist/Pessimist Thread - How are you feeling?

    We will surprise a few good teams this year. Top 4 finish. The small tweaks to the playing squad are just what we needed. For me, players like Garrick, Koula, Burbo, Froggy and Guacamole are going to be big standouts. If the forwards can hit the advantage line we will be hard to stop.
