    Waqa Blake Ripple Effect

No doubt they have a excellent junior nursery but they did finish 9th on the ladder in 2014 and 5th on the ladder in 2012. So to say 'certainly they finish top 4 at least' in the last 5 years is a bit of a stretch.

    Waqa Blake Ripple Effect

Just remembered Mansour will be out for most of 2017 so they will be trying very hard to keep DWZ.

Not sure you can add the Eels to that list considering they got busted this year.

    Waqa Blake Ripple Effect

With Waqa Blake signing a 2 year contract extension with the Panthers i find it hard to believe they can afford Hiku, Whare and DWZ on their roster for 2017. I really hope they release DWZ and he signs with us. He is very solid and gives us some extra X factor. Turbo Taufua Walker DWZ Uate DCE...

I hope you are right but he is still pretty fresh. 20 years old? For mine he is great back up but maybe a year or two away from first grade material. Until then we need to sign someone.

    Ken Sio

If he stays injury free he will play state of origin for sure in the next few years. Whether it be only 1 game or more. He is that good in my opinion.

Other than Uate and Taufua (who might be leaving) who else do we have? Williame, Parker, Wright, Wright are all reserve grade quality imo. We do need another winger imo for next year.

Josh Addo Carr is probably the hottest young winger going around in my opinion. Was totally blown away by his speed at the 9s. Good old fashioned winger with speed to score tries out wide. Reminds me off Robbo.

Agreed but i couldn't remember who their back up were. Love watching Peachey play. Guys plays well above his weight when playing in the back row. And has speed to burn out wide.

Who have they got? Blake, Hiku, Whare, Mansour, DWZ? Would love us to sign Waqa Blake. Guy is a gun. Blake and Walker in the centres would be ideal. Oh and wouldn't mind DWZ playing on the wing!

Don't think he has signed the bottom line at the Panthers just yet... At least Uate isn't injury prone from memory. Like Moga etc. But has developed a habit of playing NSW cup over first grade!

    Ken Sio

Ken Sio looks to be eyeing a return to the NRL. Might be worth if the price is right. Definitely worth considering. What do you all think?

What will the backline look like in 2017

Naiqama is solid. We could do worse than sign him.

What will the backline look like in 2017

Find it interesting that you disagree with my original post yet come to the same conclusion that we are in need of another quality center!?

What will the backline look like in 2017

Fair enough but not sure why people on here are comparing our team to the premiers. We didn't even make the 8. They are leaps and bounds ahead of us. Holmes, Bird, Maloney, Barba etc were dangerous year round. If we click we can match them but need a solid replacement for Matai. Matt Wright is...

Matt Wright? Guy is useless. Would play Jono Wright, Williame and Parker ahead of him.
  17. Dankseagles

    Matai.....

Looks like the writing is on the wall. Would love to see him involved in the club in some capacity though. He was my main man for many years!

Can't be that average if they just wont the comp!!

Lolohea would Agree but Turbo is a gun. A chance to play fullback for Australia long term should he have a good 2017. The kid has got to start!
