If DCE or Brooks go down then maybe he's a back up option. He could play anywhere in the backline. May not dominate in the halves at 1st but he looks like a fast learner. Gotta be on the bench or starting for sure.
Lot of talk about Suaalii but I reckon Wright was ahead of him v the Poms. He looks the real deal now. All good in hindsight and 26 rds NRL season is different beast but would've loved to see a backline with him and Turbo/Lehi/Saab and Koula together.
An off season in the weights room and fills out a bit he could be our version of Papenhuyzen. Move Turbo to centre with Koula, Garrick and Talau on wings. For in game injury re-shuffle could even move to 5/8.
Exactly. There was also a time during the choc/snake/kite/king era where we would punish teams with defence as well. One game vs dogs I think it was they didnt get out of the half for the 1st 40mins.
For 2025 I want to see a backup for DCE get gametime during SOO otherwise another top quality 1/2 firmly in sights. Also a major focus on gang tackling ( see dogs 2024) and kick chase pressure. I'd like to see Choc or BK become forwards coach.
