    Changes

    The one change I would make is to hold down the opponents for tackles 1 and 2 every set, even if you give away a 6 again. It's great for finals football coupled with line speed to stifle the opposition sets.

    DCE has been massively flying under the radar with all the Turbo hype. He has been absolutely brilliant on both sides of the ball since our forwards started going forward and the selections on his edge settled in. His kicking game has been amazing as well.

    Have to go wide off the ruck coming from our own end and early in the sets and hit them through the middle on any fast play the balls (the few we will be allowed). The key is to tire their forwards and go through the middle.

    Post-Game Discussion Raiders v Manly [Round 23, 2021]

    Thoroughly enjoyed that. I much prefer that sort of game rather than the razzle dazzle Vlandys ball that is dominating these days. I thought the refs use of the 6 again was good for a change. We looked clunky, especially when Croker took too many steps or Marty drifted across field.
