I just ran in to Lyall Gorman at the shops (Hornsby) and I asked him if he was coming to Manly and he said we should know more in the next week or so. I said it would be great if he did and he said thanks very much.
This is one for the old timers (like me). The SMH has an obituary today (Timelines) for Lyal Richardson born 1920 and it says he was ground announcer at Brookie for 20 years, he also worked for the ABC and 2UW. I think I remember him from the 70's/80's.
