Des Hasler has raised his concerns with NRL referees boss Jared Maxwell about what he perceives is a growing pre-finals trend of teams standing deliberately offside, claiming it’s the worst he has seen for a long time.
As his side prepare to cap a remarkable season resurrection and nail down a double chance in the finals, Hasler has opened up on his worry about defences illegally shackling attacks, in a move no doubt designed to help Tom Trbojevic flourish in September.
