Thought some might find this interesting
Any from other clubs that pique your interest ( and I don’t mean top tier ones).Re-sign Koula,Weekes,Burbo and if Fainu gets back on the field him as well.Rest are probably coverable with juniors on the rise ...
Nope.None I would want so badly for them to break a contract for.Any from other clubs that pique your interest ( and I don’t mean top tier ones).
Brandon Smith - perfect as versatile middle and great addition who even with Fainu back - adds energy and thrust which will lift the lot....oh that's right - Salary cap....
Yeh mate - your probs right - seen that old story every year....almost like Groundhog DayAnother player who always supported the roosters and will fulfil a life long dream to play there even though other clubs will offer double what the roosters do.
I can't see olay or Marty being our forward leaders leading us to a title. As u said and I agree we are very much a unfinished product yet, we have the bones of a very good team just still a few puzzle pieces away from really competing for the title.Pretty average group overall. The players that we might want will get extensions at their existing clubs or end up with the Dolphins. There is not much quality in the leftovers. I hope we retain Koula, Lawton, Trbojevic and potentially Davey, but the others can all probably move on after 2022. All teams need to evolve, and we are clearly in an evolution cycle right now.
The question is exactly who are the puzzle pieces? Are they all outside the club? Do we have any existing players (Koula, Tuipolotu, B Trbojevic) et al coming through next season who will do that for us?I can't see olay or Marty being our forward leaders leading us to a title. As u said and I agree we are very much a unfinished product yet, we have the bones of a very good team just still a few puzzle pieces away from really competing for the title.
Alex Twal, Patrick Carrigan and Isaiah Papali'i are the only ones I'd be interested in.Re-sign Koula,Weekes,Burbo and if Fainu gets back on the field him as well.Rest are probably coverable with juniors on the rise ...
I love the new boat I found in my driveway. I didn’t know I had a driveway till I signed..Another player who always supported the roosters and will fulfil a life long dream to play there even though other clubs will offer double what the roosters do.
As Brent Read revealed a few weeks ago, "you can talk to any player any time...you just can't put an offer in front of them".Don’t forget on the 1st November we’ll have a side with zero players trying to buy about 30 of them.
Could be very very interesting !!
Good luck to him I guess , but yes the home of the discards alight.Did anyone notice Jetski's found a home, no prizes for guessing this one...St George.. the Club of the assorted discards. Apparently just for cover, in case anybody gets injured.
Dee Minor and the Discards?Good luck to him I guess , but yes the home of the discards alight.
