Players omitted from Queensland’s Game I team are Corey Oates, Justin O’Neill, Anthony Milford (injury), Nate Myles, Sam Thaiday, Aidan Guerra and Jacob Lillyman.

I'm guessing all the changes in the forwards have been made with the aim of stopping Fifita, but that's easier said than done. If Fifita plays as well as he did in the first game, we win.

Wow.....loyalty plus. Now don't get me wrong this is exactly what qld need to do, and this team makes me very nervous. But the caning we have copped in nsw for the last 11 years for not showing loyalty when we have been losing is a joke.

Like others have said, easy to be loyal when winning.

On form that's a scary pack, but with any luck inexperience will be their undoing.

NSW can take a ton of confidence out of knowing they've forced such massive changes to the QLD squad.

Read Glasby selected based on the advice from Smith, Slater, Cronk
If BJ had of played for the storm would of racked up 10 Origins

Why do you think Michael Morgan is now a permanent Origin selection despite the fact that IMO he is the Qld version of Pearce (good club player, rides the coat tails of more talented team mates in Origin). Constant behind the scenes pushing by Thurston for them to pick his Cowboys team mate.

Still, we should give JT thanks because its come at the expense of DCE who can now ply his trade for the mighty Sea Eagles.

last ditch selection for an ageing team,SOO is no place for old men,
Klemmer and co.will teach Hess a lesson
Slater will be targeted and Smith will burn out after 30 minutes.

I dunno man, Smith and Slater are big game players, I reckon they've got a few big performances up their sleeves.

We just need to keep playing like last time, hit it up hard and go for the jugular. Go NSW!!!

More likely the other way round, Hess will teach Klemmer a lesson. The lesson being, run straight not sideways!

As has been said in another thread; the annual s.o.o. judiciary stitch up is here and it's Queensland's turn with Jarrod Wallace getting off a shoulder charge.

Defence basically said "The other player ran into him and it was only a glancing blow so nothing to see here."

The panel on tv show 360 couldn't even discuss the result with a straight face, and call it the burgess precedent after Sam was found not guilty after nailing Greg Eastwood in a copy book shoulder charge.
