Well presumably our figures don't include FC memberships for 2017, which would push it over 9000.

And club membership is a bit like the depth of in goals at certain league grounds the world over. No one has set (and enforced) a hard and fast guideline - i.e. memberships totally divorced from leagues club membership, etc.

You can't deny it is a real possibility. last year we only ecclipsed the Knights and Titans.

Titans are making big inroads in Qld. A wave of media attention from the Hayne Plane, having a successful year making the 8 when most predicted them to finish last, add recruits like Jarod Wallace, Kevin Proctor, and some Pommy rep player. They should be in for a big year and people are jumping on that success, there numbers will go up.

Us on the other hand. Baz hasn't won every fan over. There seems to be just as much angst against Bozo and Zorba as there is support. And that coin won't even work in a condom vending machine.

We will fight it out with the Knights. Dam those poor Bastards of Supporters had a stinker of a year. Surely Newcastle can only get better on the field in 2017.

You gotta say those Knights supporters are rusted on, they win one game and get a draw in another and have the same membership numbers as we do. No doubt a few will sign on IF they can get young Ponga there in 2017 instead of 2018.
