AFB (from memory) was sent off and suspended for aggressively abusing a ref for incompetence, in coarse terms.
Smith accused the ref of manipulating the match, questioning his integrity. On the face of it, a more serious offence to question integrity than it is to question competence, regardless of not using swear words etc.
