Giant centre Tautau Moga has quit South Sydney for St George Illawarra.

Moga, 27, agreed to terms on Monday afternoon and will shortly begin training with his new club in Wollongong.
Moga’s departure comes as Souths re-sign hardworking forward Mark Nicholls, 31, to a new two-year deal.

Which club put up a post on its Facebook site last week, advertising for an assistant coach, only to quickly pull it down a few minutes later.

I'm hearing the coach who holds the job, a former star player at the club, is about to be sent packing - but no one has bothered to tell him yet.

Former Cowboys grand final playmaker Te Maire Martin is making a comeback to rugby league and attempting to win a contract with the Brisbane Broncos.

Martin retired from the game at just 24 in 2019 following bleeding in the brain and his career looked over when specialists barred him from contact sport.

But after more than two years, Martin is showing no signs of any recurrence of the problem and recently played for Waikato in the domestic New Zealand competition - and came through unscathed.

Hodgson might be off to the Tigers on a two year deal. Been given permission by Canberra to negotiate for 2022.

Tigers are closing in on a major recruitment coup, set to offer Canberra hooker Josh Hodgson a two-year deal to join the club immediately.

While Hodgson still has one more year to run on his contract with the Raiders, Canberra have given the England international permission to negotiate with the Tigers for 2022 and beyond.

The Sydney Roosters have today announced two key appointments, with Jason Ryles and Brett Morris to join the Club’s senior coaching staff as NRL Assistant Coaches.

Ryles has signed a three-year agreement, while Morris is locked in for the next two years.
