I would be disappointed if they made another recruitment decision like that, Ofahengaues best football is behind him and replicates a high majority of the current middle forwards at the club, recruit younger footballers whose best football is in front of them.

the biggest issue we have is without a doubt hooker . Without a top tier 9, you are a step behind. They make average forwards excel which in turn gives the 6, 7 and 1 more space .

We desperately need to find the next top tier or pay overs for someone like Api .

I think we missed a huge opportunity in Blake Mozer but there’s always someone coming through.

Until we sort out our 9, we will continue to play average footy.

Just on recruitment - noticed Flanno having a major whine about losing a good young player to the Dogs. We didn't get a chance to keep him, he bleated mournfully.
Er ... except there is a 10 day cooling off period precisely so the current club can have a chance to counter any external deal.
I love it when coaches whinge and carry on because usually they have got a point. Not this time! Sometimes another club is simply more attractive.
