I think kobes strength is in the middle. I think we need to be targeting a backrower.

We definitely need another edge or two, but we really need mobility, we’ve all seen what happens when Ben has to move out. I think Quac’s bound for the middle as well, maybe not this year or next although I think his exactly what we need up front, Quac and Tent would make a quality pairing, those two with 2 mobile, high energy edges would change the dynamic of our pack, straight back into the modern arena.

Doubt if much more is going to happen major forward recruiting wise and any time soon with Jake , Tent and Ola effectively taking up some 2 . 7 mil of the cap next season .
Different matter of course when Jake 's contact or possible contract extension comes up for review but already have Moale probably been accommodated there and guys like Hart or one or two of the young gun props maybe in line for upgrades
Then maybe also looking at a decent replacement for T K O after 26 unless he can somehow continue his rejuvenated form and career
Going to have to be some cap money or savings to entice Koula to stay ongoing as well , the reduction [ or slight ] with Fogarty and Turbo will help but then also may have to upgrade the likes of Walsh and Large soon as well
Ola was given a very well paid long term contract to be an ace on an edge , guess that the form or prospective form of Burbo and Hart over the next 12 - 18 months or so will determine whether another edge of ability will be sought or given some addition priority

Considering that we are trying to get that Souths forward for next season, don't think there's a lot left for buys like Albert H tbh Al. Maybe a T&T deal if he's keen on coming back home.

Lmao, the exaggeration from the doomsdayers on here never gets old. We literally just signed a 22 year old prop that has 100x more chance of becoming a future star… Less than 12 months ago we signed Walsh who was the U 18’s captain for Australia in Union + the Large brothers who were the 2 hottest prospects across either code literally choosing between 10+ NRL clubs & a stack of Union teams as well.

Here’s a dose of reality for you, the guy is 25 & hasn’t played a single game of first grade. The chances of him becoming a ‘future star’ aren’t 0 but are highly unlikely. He’ll go to whoever says they’ll give him a crack at the top 30 wether that’s first last or anywhere in between on the ladder.

Yeah I agree. That's why someone like Garner would of been good. Can cover in the centres and burbo could come off the bench. I think this is the sort of profile we need looking at.
