Should be a date all of us manly fans stop and remember.

What a day I will remember for my life.

I will always cherrish this day because I lost my dad at 11 years of age and this GF
was spent with mum whom I coverted to a league fan.

2007 GF was the worst night every out at a sporting event the scum supporters of storm were violent Rude and I never felt safe that night.

The bus ride out on the 1A every time a storm supporter got on boos and the driver playing eagle rock the whole way out there on repeat this was pre match was such fun.

Sitting up northern end with manly supporters I didn't see much of the action was near below the try line but had the beaver try score right in front of me that will never top anything I see.

Afterwards seeing boys do lap of honour
And the bus ride back to beaches 40-0 40-0 the whole bus was buzzing then eagle rock started playing.

Just I thought how piss poor a situation we are now as a club a shadow of this era just wanted us to share your memories of this day. Let's keep this thread positive.

I remember that night two blokes from work who are one eyed roosters supporters.
They kept going on it doesn't count as we won 38 nil in the 3 point try era.
Also said that in 87 the premiership was theirs as they got robbed in the finals against Manly.

That was an astonishing day. It was emotional very emotional when you remember that only a few years earlier we were subjected to the northern eagles farce and many thought our beloved Manly was gone forever and when Beaver scored his try its fair to say the tears of joy flowed and going back to the leagues club afterwards was a very special occasion and the most satisfying thing is the team annihilated a team that not only in hindsight cheated their way to success, humiliated us the year before and took out our best player made this win extra special.

One of the greatest days in our history and warms me to this day!

Watched here in my house near Byron with my brother and 5 diehard manly boys (old boys), that came from Sydney and Townsville to watch it, 2 have since sadly passed. Neighbour dropped by to see what all the screaming was about - what an excellent day.
