I hate to say it...
Both Cowboys and rabbitoes both won the nines over the past two years, and both also won a premiership each!
Ouch......
But we are talking about the eels!!

I wouldn't stress about it, neither team won the 9's the year they won the premiership. If we take the nines results as a prediction for the NRL season ahead then we must consider the Titans as top 4 contenders, whilst believing all of the Broncos, Roosters, Rabbitohs, Sharks and Bulldogs won't make the finals.
