After today's games at brookvale oval both defeats our Jersey flegg and reserve grade team have both failed to make the 8 again all three grades will have no team in the finals again..very indicative of where our club is at the moment.

How did the Reserves go though?. I understand they drew with Penrith, the comp leaders after giving second placed St George a fright last week. This team should have made the finals with the talent they had, but I'd like to hear an assessment of the game. Anyone there.

The pack looked good with experience and potential. Perrett on the bench, Winterstein, Brown, Paseka And Sipley starting. Halves were Tom. and Cust. Strangely, Anderson on the bench today.

Yes that is true I am saying that over the last couple years under Barrett this situation has happened before missing out on finals with all three major grades.

Who cares, Penrith produce juniors & win flegg & NSW Cup all the time and never win first grade. It’s how you structure your cap, simple. It’s how we’ve always won at manly, and always will be. Current owners just don’t understand in 2018 this is where you throw your off-field resources. Recruit ahead. Crusher was the expert. He’d be worth his weight in gold with a 9.4m cap.
