All NRL Games [Round 10, 2025]

What an insane Super Saturday, was definitely less stressful tipping each way on this comp and the family tipping comp as I could sit back and just know I'll get a tip right either way.

My takeaways from each game.
Raiders and Dogs was two complete opposite performances each half and I personally thought the weak gutted dog celebration was funny, you might as well make the most out of being a meme and I think his hair was from a club punishment for not handing in a paper if I remember the article I read correctly. (in reference to @LeonardCohen posts above with the hair)

Up da wahs.

What a game, glad to see blaize finding form and getting more confident after criticism and comparisons. Cowboys need field goal practice, that was PUTRID. Someone please let me know
Great summary, and what a super Saturday it was. I must have watched the Dogs v Raiders replay highlights 6 times last night, still cant believe that comeback. Whilst some say the Dogs have no spine or weak they are hard workers who are winning and Ciros system is obviously working, great to see players show some pride in their club. Let's hope for a super sunday all the best against the Sharks!

Like someone wrote earlier here somewhere, it's like NRL Twenty20!

What's the prize in the Family Comp?!
Ours is a jersey of your choice, which is fine, however I've come to realise that whoever wins I'm the one paying for it! 🤦🏻‍♂️😂
So I need to win the comp and not buy a jersey, just to break even!

tend not to watch much of other games in recent times but actually enjoy it a bit more now there's a sprinkling of past-or-future Manly players to check out. Hump's passing was off the pace, Weekes had a great run but bombs still his Achilles heel, Fogarty remains solid and capable...
Dogs are annoyingly awesome. are they all on the juice or something? The bastards don't stop!

What was it... Canberra's first reg season sell out crowd in 20 years. lol
Unless they fudge the highlights audio, it sounded like a loud bunch of dogs supports in Canberra

He's a special player. I have to say it's very hard to not respect what the dogs are doing this year.
Not a huge fan of some of the niggle in his game, but no doubt he is an amazing player. Really lifts everyone around him, and I guess the on-field demeanour is part of that.

But you don't have to look too far back to rediscover some hate for the Bulldogs. Think about Todd Greenberg luring Hasler and his staff away from Manly, deliberately targeting the club and its players because they couldn't come up with their own model for success.

And they have done the same thing to the Panthers, taking as many players and staff as they can get their hands on. All achieved with massive amounts of cash. They're pretty much the Roosters with slightly more patience in their roster building.

Rubbish. The general concesus on here is that we have less than a handful of star players and a weak spine of no names. Im assuming by your profile photo you indeed know Gus Gould is a former Bulldogs premiership winner and also coached them a premiership. Show me 1 player on the bulldogs lineup that is getting paid 7 figures there is none.
I can understand your bitterness with Hasler i would too he's a Manly legend and his departure suddenly would have been a kick in the guts, but that was Haslers decision. That's ancient news anyway

Gus built the Panthers and he wants to replicate that at the Dogs, and the amount of investment he's putting into the pathways program behind the scenes is respectable

If manly don’t win it, I’m on the dogs bandwagon

They got a standing ovation from the Canberra crowd at halftime, fulltime, nowhere to be seen.
Had to laugh at one of the commentators saying in one breath that it was I think only their second regular season sellout ever, and then saying the sellout crowd supported their case for a new stadium. Wtf. How can you justify spending tax dollars on a brand new stadium for a team that only sells out once every decade or so? And what exactly is wrong with the current stadium, apart from the fact it’s in Canberra?

Just thinking about the dogs comeback it seems to me they just ran harder straighter and tackled harder than in the 1st half thus winning the ruck whereas if was us we would be throwing it wide and running in circles trying to get back into it and making mistakes

Are we talking about a comment a grown man made about a kid as he was going through the grades?

I would say that he is changing the narrative and giving his side of the story.

It was also something that was brought up in magic round by a fan in a sideline comment to Ricky.
Yeah, because there’s substantial narrative insight to be found in a repeat of Ricky’s initial comment 🙄

You do realise that they simply bought their coach and three best players from Penrith, don't you?
As for Wests' revival: they have five Penrith players in their top 17; Doesn'tmatta has another couple...
How good would Penrith be if it wasn't raided by pirates?

Oh, and we also have a Penrith player. He's waddling around in our top 17 today.

Doggies just did their best to just stay in the grind first half, whether the storm, on that, the game against the storm last week was always going to catch up with them in second half, knowing the green men would fade, their big men v the fitness of the blue dogs second half onslaught, the dogs have big engines v the green machines big boppers in the middle, plus the Doggies D in the second half, their D has been winning them games for a good while now, which we had D like that.

Yes, I know who Gus Gould is, and I respect his experience and intelligence. He's doing an excellent job.

But you can't tell me that Kikau, Burton, Reed Mahoney and Chricton are not on serious coin, or that you're still not paying part of Addo-Carr's oversized bill. Tupouniua isn't on minimum wage, and Leo Thompson won't be either. The Bulldogs are by no means a struggling club. Never have been. It's not a "Cinderella" rags to riches story. More like riches to more riches.

Ciraldo has done an amazing job and has the team playing really good football. But he couldn't have done it without recruiting some serious talent.

Don't get me wrong - I don't begrudge the Bulldogs their current success. Even if they do fizzle out this year, they are definitely on the right path. Dogs fans have plenty of reasons to be excited. But it's rugby league, and you can't have rugby league without hate for your rivals. So I will continue to hate the Dogs with my maroon and white heart, even if I wish we were just a little bit more like them🙂

Sorry, from now on I’ll check in with you first before favouring another side. My bad.

In late 2024 the Dogs were $1.6 mill under the salary cap according to Gus. In fact $1 million was wasted last year on players under contract that didnt even get a run on the field Ryan Sutton, Jackson Topine, and Karl Oloapu.

To say the Dogs haven't struggled is crazy talk, the last 7 years have been a struggle and has been torture to support, once you get a wooden spoon you will know how it feels but Manly are yet to get one so fans can't fully grasp struggle. Addo Carr's $500k contract was torn up last year by Gus which opened up more space, i think you believe the players mentioned are on far more than what they actually are. Agree re rivalry, great for the game doesn't bother me who hates who if a team is playing good footy they will get my respect

Brian To'o is off contract this year, maybe you should put in a bid for him ! Haha

Oh, yeah - they've definitely struggled on the field (Dessie bites everyone on his way out), but they've never struggled for money. They're just using it way more effectively now🙂
