All NRL Games [Round 14, 2025]

Don't be surprised to see Simpkin dropped sometime soon. Seibold has his No.1 hooker back (Froggy) while Jazz can perform the dual roal of bench forward / dummy half.

While Froggy was good last night while he was on, it was mostly his defence because once again it was chalk and cheese the service from dummy half. After 5 years Croker is still only a makeshift dummy half.
I wouldn’t be one bit surprised, our whole senior playing group are an auto select for Seibs, that’s a big part of our problem, it creates complacency and the whole team suffers off the back of it.

Watching the Dolphins how are we gonna end up in front of them?. We look old, slow, and clueless compared to them.

Oooohj it’s gonna be a long drought folks.

They started 0-4 before finding form and consistency. We started as March premiers before falling away badly. What a joke we are.

There's a lot to like about the dolphins. When you consider they started with nothing (although that may be an advantage) they have improved their roster and are usually good to watch.

Dolphins just run hard tackle hard and work for each other in attack and defence plenty of blokes with good leg speed getting quick play the balls. Either that or the dragons are just crap

Hate to say it, but next weeks game against the Tits is shaping as season defining. A loss and we are in serious spoon territory. Who are we confident will definitely finish below us at this stage?

Farnworth is a bloody machine. He just keeps getting better.
Was wondering wether it was a tactic from the Dolphins to try
and kill Nathan Lawson. Every time they bashed him legally and illegally.
Damien Cook going to cover the other wing had those big ol ‘deer in the headlights’ look that
Burbo had last night. Just goes to show there is no where to hide on a footy field.

Didn't watch last nite's games aside from a few minutes here and there but i did catch this moment, what a leap by Jumping Jack

Tackled in the air by the dragons player as well, but as there was a try, no penalty was forthcoming.

Lol not sure if that was actually a tackle. More like having the other guy jump onto your head (while you're standing up!)

And with no Flegler, their marquee signing and that forward who had season ending injuries...twice. Good luck to them.

True , but I thought when I looked at the video, he wrapped his arms around him as he fell to the ground and scored.

anyway...nbd (that's no big deal for you old farts.)

I like those that catch with their arms over their heads. If Saab could do it consistently...I'd boot to him every 5th tackle. haha.

Yeah they play a good style of footy.
Don't know about starting from nothing though, based on Redcliffe which is one of the biggest most successful Brisbane clubs, and apparently Dolphins immediately became one of the wealthiest clubs in the NRL.

2 things I thought about last night while watching dolphins vs dragons lastnight
1. How amazing would it be if we had a halfback like Katoa
2. How amazing is it that we don't have a halfback like Flanagan

I meant in terms of players. I know they signed a couple of Redcliffe players but their player stocks basically started at zero

Young Healy from the Warriors (ex Sharks) looks the goods at dummy half.

Can tackle too.

I find the sharks a boring team to watch. Just big fast forwards rumbling downfield, getting to their fronts for quick play the balls, other team just running backwards until they get to the quarter, then a Haynes or trindall bomb. It’s like watching touch footy with kicks.

I hate how frantic footy has become under the six again rule. Any tackle a nanosecond too long generates a six again until either they score or a bomb gets defused and the other team gets a go. I get more anxiety than enjoyment from watching some of these games.

No subtlety or footy skills anymore.
