All NRL Games [Round 18, 2025]

Thank god I at least tipped the Broncos on the family tipping comp so I'm only half disappointed, in hindsight I wish I took the risk on here but oh well.

I was on the kennel forum for the first time having a look and wow what a place but the amount of pages was insane, It was funny seeing them all praise Galvin in page 40 and you get to 80 and its just the complete opposite

Not a fan at all for them giving up sexton and Mahoney for Galvin. Why fix something that's not broken?

Looking at the dragons lineup today, I'm suprised there is even a molo brother left or playing after all the drama that went down with Francis. I also haven't heard the name Michael Molo in a LONG time.

Agree, and said similar in the NRL thread yesterday. It's crazy at just 24 Sexton's being palmed off to the Catalans for a 'superstar' who is not being one at the moment, and it has destabilised the Dogs.
Sexton would have been a good get for us. I threw him and Savala up early in the equation when Dollar pulled his stunt, we probably could have got both for less than Fogarty at the time.

The club should have granted Dollar his release, could have traded him on Savala and cash our way, and or a young forward to even things out, haven’t we just signed one from them? Amazing. Holding Dollar against his will was only ever going to see a sh1tstorm, by that I mean as if he was ever going to put in, being held against his wishes and maintain team harmony, the result speaks for itself.

I thought we were also promised Galvin, who was always going to the dogs, hence why Sexton was not being offered a new deal, that’s why we should of targeted him, especially if the Galvin promise come from Mosses.

In hindsight shame the club signed Brookes to 4 years, 2028 seems like a hard pill to swallow. I actually think Sexton would have been a better buy than Fogarty, yer I get the kicking thing, in saying that Sexton would have made a good halves partner for Fogarty if the Brookes situation wasn’t so dumb, dumb as in 4 years dumb.

I don’t know what the dogs were thinking letting Sexton go and bringing in Galvin mid season, sure the kid has potential, but Sexton is a class above on present form and dare I say half the cap space, not to mention what appears to be transpiring with the team dynamics, why spoil a good thing, dumb dogs.

I’m hoping Fogarty will be good for us, but with a halves pairing in their 30’s I don’t see that formula being the way to go in the modern game. Savala and Sexton would have made for a good combo, Savala bought the kicking game, anyway that’s all done and dusted, but the opportunity was there and was real. Chooks wanted the Dollar, the club should of ceased the moment, but our geniuses had us in a premiership window, with a half who wanted out, amazing, even more amazing given our current cap situation and what we could of achieved with a different mind set.

Fogarty is a better option than Sexton. Both offer little in the way of enterprise, which leaves their organising and kicking as strengths. Fogarty has a better kicking game than Sexton so we landed the right player.

There's also a lot being said about the changes the Dogs have made but a lot was said when they signed so many utilities and fringe forwards. It'll take time but I am loathe to write Gus off yet. He knows what he is doing.

I almost cry when I see Weekes play, speed to burn. Why did we let him go.

We have no patience as a club with young players they have to star from day 1 or we drop them. I can't blame the coach at all times as the owner and ceo thinks we are a top 4 roster.Ttime for the owner and ceo to trust a coach to build a team not go for quick fixes all the time.

For "fun" tonight I might go through and make up a team comprised of players we let go under Barrett and have let go under Seibold.

Fun......yeah, sure. More like painful.
