Great 1st half...sloppier 2nd half but high tempo
Can't stand either but Roosters known for buying big names had some great young forwards, so their recruiting deserves credit also
Couple of things
How 2 Dogs not binned for high shots, the rules have changed within the 25 season
Also Savala clearly ko'd "trying" to tackle Kikau....eyes rolled and will give credit for a quick recovery, but EVERY other situation like this in 2025 the officials come in under the "player welfare" rule and off they go
Also felt Creighton knocked on for Lenuis vital half time try....not even a mention ?
Anyways decent game as a spectacle and Roosters are looking like a legitimate challenger and again, a little envious of these Young gun Rooster forwards....surely can't keep them all and a better option than the Klemmer and other twilight players who should head to super league

Mate so many times an open line we all thinking it's over, he gets chop down 8 of 10. Fastest man in league my ARSSS, never back himself, always looking to pass back on the inside.

I've never seen Jack Elsgood doing that S###T. If I was that fast, I wouldn't think about passing. Should b toying with them, don't think he's that fast. I'm a massive fan of Saab but thinking twice about it. As my other posts on other thread, couldn't b F#### going on bout it anymore., he's been Sh***

The main reason he gets chopped down (see: ankle tapped) is actually the length of his legs. They're a longer target to get.

And when you have just the fullback in front of you and the sideline to one side, backing your own pace doesn't always work no matter how fast you are. I'd rather have someone even of Saab's pace who knows to pass to support players than he potentially get tackled into touch, at which point fans like you would lose your 💩 that he didn't pass back inside to a support player who might have scored.

Honestly, the only thing I can think of is that the Chooks still feel that Walker needs an older halfback mentor.

But even that seems dubious at best.

Yes I'm rapidly losing interest in this constantly lopsided sport. If these nrl clowns don't seriously attempt to even the competition up and introduce some sort of draft like the afl then it'll continue to be a 3 or 4 team competition.

Geez felt for the Dragons, losing 3 forwards and an outside back as 18th man, personally think they were the better side majority of the game too.

And thanks a lot Dogs, I got my tip wrong 😡 luckily I went roosters on the family tipping comp so at least I got a tip right somewhere on this spinning rock that we call earth.

question for @TJ55 , what's the general consensus on the kennel and even your thoughts on Curran? He seems to have one too many errors in him, in my opinion.
