All NRL Games [Round 26, 2025]

People may have complained during the time Arko and Quayle were in charge of the game here, but at least they never interfered with how games are officiated. At least, not to the extent we've seen over the past decade or so from the likes of Greenturd, V'Landys and Abdo.

The NRL are frothing to get the donkeys in the 4

Its good for business. Why do you think the Storm will always be allowed to use Qld as their junior base rather than having to actually go local by using the NRL Victoria?? Having a successful NRL team in the heart of AFL territory is.....

Good
For
Business

🤷‍♂️

And guaranteed that the Perth Bears also won't have to rely on local juniors, or even have to worry about setting up local junior pathways type things.

The NRL are going to want the Bears "return" to be successful.....especially with the state government over there tipping in some $66 million..... :wondering:

Its scores like the Cows vs Donkeys (30–38) that has me worried about the upcoming Kangaroo Tour and Ashes series.

We used to base our international dominance on defence, but since the days of the U/20's when all the hype was on how good those kids, now NRL "stars", were with the ball in hand. The problem was that defence became almost a taboo subject. Yet here we are, a decade later and the cricket scores of the U/20's are now cricket scores in the NRL.

Entertaining it might be, but we're not playing touch footy here. Defence should still be a thing in the professional ranks.

Defence in Australian rugby league has almost become a taboo subject. And it has me worried because we're now playing the Pom's style of attack first footy. We're playing their game.

I hope it doesn't come back to bite us with an Ashes loss.....Bozo would be rolling over in his grave.

All in the name of "Sports Entertainment ". The nrl deliberately manages games with 6 agains to create fatigue so easy points get scored. It's rubbish rugby and is damaging the game enormously.

They can shove the term "Sports Entertainment" right up their clacker.

Vince McMahon has a lot to answer for, and putting that term onto the world is just one of them :swear: :swear: :swear:

The six again rule is a blight on the game. To say I hate the rule is the understatement of every understatement I have ever spoken, typed, coded, written, mailed, or communicated via telepathic means.
The Bunker is the worst change ever perpetrated on our sport. It sucks out all the spontaneity. You can't afford to get excited about a try because it will take 2-3 minutes for some clown watching it on TV to confirm or deny what your eyes have seen.
And it changes results. It can't be incompetence because it happens too regularly. The sport is corrupt with officials having greater influence over results than do players.
