Another great member benefit

Unfortunately we have received similar feedback on the pencil case and the cooler bag. We have been replacing these to anyone who has had an issue/fault with the items so if @Loobs is happy for you to pass on his Member number/address we will more than happily replace the junior pencil case.


We have already flagged our concerns with our supplier who have flied out from Melbourne and met with us in person surrounding how we can improve our items in 2020. The items with zippers were a major concern for us as we have had to reissue a number of products. They have taken samples from our stock and have promised us that we will have a better supply chain moving forward (timely & true product sampling, etc). We expect 2020 to have a considerable increase in product quality.


2020 Member product demand is something we will cover at our next Member Council meeting so any additional feedback you come across would definitely come in handy.
Thanks - appreciate it. My mum cracked out the Janome and fixed it up and reinforced it all so they are OK, but good to hear they're improving it for next year.

My only other suggestion is kid specific hats. The standard member hat is too big for a 5 year old.

Delivery:
I've said it so much I cant remember if I've told you before (apologies if I have).

What assurances, if any, will the suppliers give so the overseas people get their gear before April? I pay to get the pack pre Christmas but usually get left with an apologetic Manly via an email from someone who isn't there 12 months later.

As previously said: recently I get my members pack sent to HappilyManly who then sends it on to me as I'm tired of trusting the suppliers who all promise delivery on time but are often 4-5 months late.

The gear isn't the problem as Aussie Manly people get theirs, they just see a Canadian address and run away from the parcel like it's covered in scary spiders who are in a particularly bad mood that day.

Keep in mind that unlike, say, every other business on the planet, there has never been any compensation for such terrible delivery, no 'have 10% off something from the store' no 'have a signed poster', no anything. Next time you order something, see how you are when it's 4 months late. (NBN customers may be the exception).

While I'm not pushing a case for compensation (I don't want a free pencil case, they sound terrible) I am pushing for a professional supplier that can deliver products as promised. How about, for every day they are late, the supplier's ceo pays me $1000 out of his or her personal account.
 
I just got the call up to watch the players warm up on the field, as well as form a guard of honour when they run out.
Now, when they win on Saturday, I will assume it was entirely because of me.

PS maybe you can take out a couple of the Chooks as they run out as well?
