Looking at the headline, seems amazing that there was a game of footy with only one team playing.
More amazing is the fight wasn't on the field but let's splash MANLY over the (digital) page.

Repeatedly kicking someone on the ground in the head is a definite full-time jail sentence if proved, so a bit more serious than 'mischief' I'd say.
The news report makes it sound like it was Manly people fighting each other??? They do mention that Hoppa was only involved to try to break it up.

When was the last pre-season that Manly wasn't negatively represented in the presser? I honestly can't remember when..

I would also query the use of the word “brawl” when it would seem there were only 2 combatants.
