Anyone know any more about Whare being injured in the junior test.

I have read in another thread that Dean Whare was taken off with a serious leg injury after 20 minutes, and didn't return. Does anyone have any further information on this. I also read that shoulders suspension won't be served in the tests so we need a centre for the start of next year, and hopefully not t-Rex. On the manly website old field is listed as a wing / centre maybe he can fill this gap with killer till matai returns.

Just on a side note, I heard on the radio that Oldfield scored a 90m intercept try in that match. I've never really seen him get in the clear but he must have some toe.

I think it may be a confidence thing, thrown into our side for very big matches, he may have been simply worried about positioning and running support play, trying to play it safe. I am thinking he will be a gun when he gets a few games under his wing.
