I am personally glad that Cherry isn't in this Queensland squad even though he 100% deserves to be there.
If Qld lose next Wednesday night and Cherry was playing he would be on a hiding to nothing, even if he only came off the bench with 5 minutes to play when NSW led by 50 (hypothetical). Just like 2014 he would be the one to cop the blame, the whole blame and nothing but the blame. Not anyone else, just him. Now at least when they lose they have no one to blame but themselves.

According to Mundine he got screwed out of the 1993 and 1996 premierships with St George, 1999 with St Merge (and the Clive Churchill's from each), every Dally M from 1993-2000 and all Aussie and NSW #6 jumpers in that time frame.
