Shocking disgraceful stats. Only the Titans have been awarded fewer penalties by this obviously anti Manly official. Des should get on the phone asap.

- he looks pretty consistent v us in penalties. however he looks to favour souths there

Win/loss Manly the same as overall .. we win 53% normally and with Klein we win 53%

Win/loss Souths .. souths go backwards .. only win 51% with Klein ..win 57% normally

Penalties Manly .. in 30 games the difference for and against is 1.5 penalties ... over 30 games !

Penalties Souff's ... with 50 games ref'd it shows they get less than one more penalty per game than normal ... big deal.

I would say overall they favour us slightly ..

As bad as he might be I don’t think the ref decides this one , a team ( take your pick ) will stand up and want it more than the other.

The 1% plays will win the game, not a referee favouring one side over the other.

Agree that Klein is one of the worst refs ever, but to be fair it seems to be general incompetence rather than bias in most cases. I have no idea how he came to be reffing a prelim.
