Barrett to make appearance at the Sharks

It seems Trent Barrett has joined the Sharks after all.

The Rockingham Sharks in Perth, that is.

In what we guess is something of a coup for the club, the former Manly coach will be the special guest at a pre-season fundraiser later this month

An Evening with Trent Barrett promises to be a lively affair if he opens up on how he really feels about his exit from the Sea Eagles.

Barrett has not spoken since his acrimonious departure just before Christmas.

"NRL Legend".... hardly! :tmi:

Let's reserve "legend" status for those who really are Legends, not pretenders :wait:

To be fair he did win Dally M player of the year, and played for Australia.
To be fair , On his day he was one of the great players . It is honourable to represent your country and win the dally m
Not all rep players though reach the same heights as NRL head coach .

Yes, I understand that the local public phone booth doubles as the Sharks’ clubhouse.

Their club rooms are sponsored by Telstra
