Interesting last paragraph in Zorba’s column today..

NRL players are forgiven for rape, violent assault, drug possession, taking bribes, adultrey and a myriad of other distasteful actions, but this bloke is “newsworthy” and ostracised by the club and this very forum for being....wait for it PETULANT!
As Rex would say, I am flabbergasted.
Sure he was no saviour, but he would have been a better option in our NRL team this year than some other preferred “stars” of our squad.
We bought him to play footy, not marquee as Mother Theresa

We bought him to play football with 16 other blokes in something we call a "team" ... if his numb-nutted presence in this thing called a team is detrimental ..... to the team ... then said exponent of numb-nuttness needs to be removed ...

The amusing side note to all this ... is that this millennial old and proven factor of tribal sociological behaviour is understood and accepted by all the tribe .... except (not unexpectedly) .... by the other numb-nutts who just can't see to grasp the simple fundamentals of group dynamics ... go figure ...
