For us a LOT revolves around the following
Lyon...injury a worry, if he's not good all year we'll be in trouble!
DCE...rookie half, we expect big things but will he deliver?
Kite...needs to find his old form, when he was charging up we were doing ok, he's lost his "mojo" a bit since the CC Medal in 2008.
Watnow...at his best a game winner, hasn't been at his best for a while...is this his year for a comeback??
Snakie....will lift the team just by being there, hope the knees hold out and hope he still has that blinding speed!
I think these are many of the reasons why we aren't being rated this year...you'd expect the Courier Mail to be biased towards QLD teams (and they are) but not one of the "journo's" picked Manly in the 8...they all have us running 12th / 13th / 14th.
Whilst understanding where they are coming from our side has the "potential" to do way better.....if the planets align I think we'll finish in 5th, if all of the above mentioned players have problems / don't fire then 13th or 14th is a fair call....as sad as that may sound.
