The Dragons have confirmed that centre Valentine Holmes will miss the remainder of the 2025 season due to a shoulder injury, while Keaon Koloamatangi has joined the casualty ward at Souths with an ankle injury.

We can win this, defence gets the job done today, it’s our new thing, let’s keep up the good work, send our big men through their middle all day, bit of pressure on Galvin, he’ll force a mistake or two out himself, key is holding their first 40 and coming back out in the second half, lots of bits to this one, if everyone does theirs we’ll get them, after all we kinda own them at the moment, don’t want to let that slip, let’s go 11 from 12, back into the 8, 4 on the trot, plenty to play for today, wish it was 4 o’clock already.

I would go with the Manly that beat them x2 in a row away last year. But I think the Dogs have been a different beast this year (although perhaps fortunate last week)

No backline player on the Bench - very risky selection practice. If one of our backs goes down - e.g. Turbo or Saab, then Ben goes into centre and almost certain we lose. This has happened before - just wish Talau could be included on Bench for obvious benefits. (BTW C.B. have two players who can easily cover backs and forwards roles, on their Bench).
