Revealed: Who your team will face in round one of the NRL season
The NRL is reconsidering its opening-round draw after scheduling complaints from host broadcasters.
The round will be split across two weeks with the Rabbitohs and Sea Eagles to open the season in Las Vegas, with the Broncos and Roosters to square off in the second game of the double-header at Allegiant Stadium on March 2 (March 3 in Australia).
The four teams involved in Las Vegas will square off against each other over the opening three rounds of the season to provide consistency and balance to the draw.
The Rabbitohs will play against the Broncos at Suncorp Stadium in round two before taking on arch rivals the Sydney Roosters at Allianz Stadium in round three. The Sea Eagles will play the Roosters in round two and the Broncos in round three.
Las Vegas-bound South Sydney and Manly will play a Sunday afternoon trial on February 11 on the Central Coast, six days before the Bunnies and St George Illawarra meet in the Charity Shield at Kogarah.

Great 0/3 start....We won the first game this season which was probably our 1st rnd win in 10 years, so i guess we will go back to our usual Rnd 1 loss to start 2024.
The only positive from that start is all Teams will be rusty and there is usually lots of upset in the first 4-6 rounds so lets hope we pull some upsets off to start the season.

I assume that means the first 3 rounds of the comp not trials.
And why are you also assuming we will lose all 3?

Fantastic to get the HM and SG Ball squads early this year (normally a week before comp starts). Having a quick look, a couple of early thoughts:2024 Sea Eagles SG Ball Summer Squad
Manly Warringah Sea Eagles have named their squad for the 2024 NSWRL SG Ball Cup competition.
1. Less emphasis on West/Penrith area and more focus on central coast & Queensland + a lot of local Manly club juniors;
2. Some players have been named in more than one summer squad e.g. Calvin levy was one of the players touted to be following Fulton to West tigers but pops up on our list as well;
3. Naiyep & Jackson were named in U18 emerging QLD squad. Trey Watson is from Yeppoon (wonder if first signing from St Brendons College);
4. A lot of HM players from our very successful U16's development team including the young half Alexander who the Roosters were chasing.
