Did he have tickets? You do realise he was involved in 4 grand final appearances????
If you didn't know, just ask him.
Unparalleled record!!!
Not sure it’s an O’Brien vs Hastings issue, rather than the next instalment of Hastings vs the rest of the playing group, they are right off him. What a shockThey need a halfback.
Dont know whats gone on between him and Hastings but you gotta bring him in.
Knights awful atm
Must be such a $%#@Not sure it’s an O’Brien vs Hastings issue, rather than the next instalment of Hastings vs the rest of the playing group, they are right off him. What a shock

Maybe they can take Brookie1973 with them. He knows how to coach!Hastings reported to be of to the ESL again, and O'Brien not far behind him.
Nothing Unusual here feathered friendNot sure if I'm reading too much into it but the last two pressers Ponga has looked like he is well and truly over O'Brien and I can't blame him.
This post is the literal opposite of prophetic.I'm not convinced that Barrett won't make it as a coach, and given a 5/8, full salary cap, limited injuries I think he could steer us to finals most years, I think he would make a great coach for a winning side (if that makes sense)
However I want better.
There aren't many good coaches available and they will be expensive so I'd like to get Adam O'Brien the long term assistant from the storm. He is highly regarded and could be stuck behind bellyache for a while.
From the www.melbournestorm.com site;
Storm assistant coach Adam O’Brien has signed a new two-year extension to remain in Melbourne.
The experienced coach will now stay in purple until at least the end of 2019, a deal that will extend his tenure at the Club to 12 seasons in total.
O’Brien joined Melbourne in 2007 as an assistant coach with Storm’s Under-20s program.
After four years he then moved into the NRL staff as a development coach before progressing to an assistant coach at the start of the 2014 season, taking charge of the team’s outside backs and attack.
For the last 12 months O’Brien has taken on a senior assistant role under Head Coach Craig Bellamy.
Along with fellow assistant Jason Ryles and development coaches Mark Brentnall and Aaron Bellamy, O’Brien has been pivotal to the Club’s constant pursuit of success.
“Adam is highly regarded at the Club and extremely well respected by the players,” Storm Football Director Frank Ponissi said.
“We believe he has the potential to one day be a Head Coach, he has a lot of similarities to Craig in terms of his work ethic, he is passionate and he’s got a real desire to get better, learn and find new ways to grow continuously as a coach.
“He is an integral part of our hard working coaching staff and we are delighted to have Adam remain with us here in Melbourne.”

Former Batemans Bay Tiger leaves his mark on 2017 premiership
“Thankfully the club I’m at with Craig is not only good at developing players he develops coaches as well. You can see how many there are in the NRL now who’ve worked under him. It’s made me a lot better coach but they make you a better person as well.
“It’s an unbelievable club and I’m privileged to be a part of it and be around so many once in a lifetime players. It’s all about timing and I was in the right place at the right time and I’m very grateful.”
O’Brien has been credited with the attacking overhaul that propelled the Storm to this year’s title, a 34-6 grand final victory over the Cowboys an emphatic endorsement of the new approach.
He was annoited by bellyache to take over when he was looking to go to Brisbane but that has gone cold.
Here he is. What were you thinking man? Seriously. The years have not been kind to Adam "don't you know who I am " O'Brien.
But knights roster keeps getting rebuilt worse each time.
And don't try blaming the roster to cover up your doozy of a post. O'brien and Baz are both ass.The years have not been kind to Adam "don't you know who I am " O'Brien.
But knights roster keeps getting rebuilt worse each time.
