Agree 100% Bozo. The whole team including the players, coaching staff, ball boys etc. have proven every doubter wrong with their pre-season tips including the ones in here! The boys have shut a lot of mouths, however there will always be the few who will continue to make excuses for our great season!! We are gonna be one hell of a kick-ar$e team in 2020 & beyond! Am sad we lost but happy with the effort & already hanging out for next year!

To lose both, plus 2 bench props in Toff and Paseka, Full back and only have replacements available with zero NRL experience ended our season 🙁

Highlight for me was that we matched them for tries against all odds

Let’s get the off season underway. I want to know who’s injured and I want to know all about their treatment and rehab. I want to know where the boys are going for their post season trip. I want to know about the practical jokes they play on each other. I want to know what torments Donny has planned for them. I want lots of training pics and videos. 2020 here we come. I haven’t felt this invested in the team in years.

Many these guys were virtually unknowns going into this year and all of them grew a leg and we are getting to know them better and better.

Just look at the crowd in the swamp ;last night, there is the evidence.

I'm expecting a membership spike next year, including two from me and my wife, and I want Tood Greenberg to eat a cockroach for every membership signed up, and I'm talking the big juicy ones from his heartland West of Sydney.

It was a great season by the boys. This year was not going to be anywhere near our best chance in the next few years to win a title but it’s great that they gave it a crack and genuinely believed that they could win it under adversity

At close to full strength though, we really could have won it this season. I think our depth will improve significantly from next year onwards as will all of our younger guys

I feel like our Eagles have risen from the ashes like a phoenix. Thanks to Mr Penn for hiring Des. Thanks to Des and his assistants for bringing Manly back from the dead and thanks to our champion players for becoming part of the real Manly DNA. I am excited about 2020 and beyond. This is a feeling that I haven't had since we lost Tooves. I have only been a participating on silvertails in recent years and I must say I am completely addicted. I enjoy the characters and the exchanges. I may not agree with everyone's view on here but I respect you all and won't take your criticism to heart no matter how misconceived it may be! Go the mighty Eagles!

This year we beat all the remaining contenders except the Chooks, so confidence will be sky high. That should ensure a highly motivated, focussed, and intense pre-season coming up!
Reminds me a little of when the Chooks signed SBW (and a couple of other stars) for 2013 after finishing also-rans the previous two years. Suddenly their belief and motivation was through the roof, and pretty much from the start of the year they performed well. Even those who had been so-so the year before. We could be in for a very similar ride (minus the free hits from referees, of course).
