It followed my lure for a bit so had to tweak it for it to take it. It smashed it and went for a run.

It's a great looking hol where two sections of the river join. Never had luck in that hole but pulled a rainbow out 5 mins before. The brown though was a cracker

what is with the short kick offs ,Saab hasnt got within 5 mtrs of one yet ,like do they practice ....ever?? TBH im not fan of them for Manly ,best to go long kick and back the defence 40 mtrs from the try line rather than right on top of it

We’d better score first in the second half. I fear heads may drop if we don’t and it could get ugly. No one to do Jake’s tackling.

And that’s what makes him so frustrating to watch. I think it’s all mental for him. He just doesn’t seem to have that self-belief or determination.

On his 2nd break he should have backed himself to out-run Drinkwater. Outside or inside he could have done him for pace. And he'd have easily out-run the inside chasers. They'd have needed motorbikes to catch him.

So far we've been lucky that the Cowboys have been terrible as well. But I'm still confident we can be worse than them in the second half.
