A great defensive effort against a team averaging 30 points per match over the last 6 games.
Clunky in attack (sheesh Tom) but we got there.
Some players really stood up today, and not the stars we think should.
Really glad Burbo grabbed that try - even if it was kinda well 'lucky' lol. He still had work to do, and played very well.
Happy with the win (as always) especially as this site is my main Manly info hub, and it was rubbish over the last week.

Finding a way to create an error. Was better last night, but seriously this guy has terrible handling and is a total defensive turnstile (although good effort on Nanai). He really should have held that interception and streaked away. I constantly find myself yelling at him through the TV.

I am wondering whether Jake needs an extended rest like Ponga and keary have had in the past as he has had three concussions in his last 11 games for us counting the roosters semi last year.
That missed intercept was frustrating. Saab should’ve dived for it to at least gain possession when it was clear he couldn’t regather staying on his feet.

He slipped and almost did his ankle. It looked to me like he was in two minds as to weather he should take another couple of metres closer to the posts or just ground it. That moment of indecision caused the slip. I watched the reply and focused on his left leg, which slid like he was on a banana peel.
Anyway, he is definitely clumsy.

Jake Trbojevic knocked out of Origin in Sea Eagles’ win over Cowboys
The inspirational NSW captain suffered a sickening concussion that effectively ruled him out of the opening match of the State of Origin series.
Injuries:
Jake Trbojevic is set to be ruled out of the May 28 State of Origin series opener at Suncorp Stadium after suffering a Category 1 head knock while playing for Manly against North Queensland.
He was attempting to tackle Cowboys winger Murray Taulagi and slumped to the ground after a head clash, with team-mates - including brothers Tom and Ben - showing concern for the inspirational forward.
The NRL's mandatory 11-day stand down for concussions applies to State of Origin.
